Dr. 3am (Dream) & Central Avenue

One of my longtime friends and really dope hip hop artist, and believe it or not one of our 1st artist on Dirty Route Records. Dr3am AKA Dr. 3am. I personally met Dream somewhere around 1995 or so. I was looking for a graphic artist to design a logo for my newly established label at the time. I had a co-worker who was a mutual friend of Dreams and she said to give Dream a call. Dream and I linked up after a couple of days and invited me to his crib to talk. When I walked into basement I was awed by the artwork and graphics and paintings he had done. Judging his work, this kid was definitely a true Hip Hopper. We chopped it up a while, listening to music, smoked a couple of bowls and vibed. I gave him the job of doing the logo for me. I wasn’t sure of what I wanted so I let him use his creativity. Once I got the final product I knew me and this kid was gonna be joined at the hip. From there he signed on to my label as rap artist and we have done many dope records and various projects together. Talk about an all in one talent, well Dream can do it all. Dope rapper and writer, great producer, dope engineer, one of the rawest if not the rawest tagger in Chicago and a master builder with his hands. We have broken plenty of bread together and I trust this guy with my life. This guy’s entire immediate family have always accepted me in as an extension of the family and I must say the Parsons are really great people. From Central Avenue to Dreams entire Team, Daelah, PozLyrix, Bob “TrueGeenyus” Wolkotte and others I have failed to mention (blame it on the years of marijuana smoke).
